CHALLENGE
The world’s toughest row
The biggest event in ocean rowing, almost 5,000 km…
A challenge that takes us from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain to Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour, Antigua. We are all active and competitive. We want to bring out the best in ourselves nd therefore set the bar high. Our ultimate goal: to win the women’s race in the TWAC2023.
Our schedule will consist of 2 hours of rowing, 2 hours of rest, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week over a period of 40 to 60 days. The annual race starts in early December, with around 35 teams from around the world.
All of them want the same thing: the unique and incredible experience of crossing an ocean in a rowing boat, without support. More people have climbed Mount Everest than have rowed an ocean… We can’t wait!
As we prepare for our ambitious adventure, we would like to offer you the opportunity to become part of our
team and this incredible journey. We have a range of sponsor packages available. They are flexible and we are happy to discuss them if you prefer to put together a
package that suits you better. Everything is possible!
With sponsors on board, we can free up more time to focus on another big goal: drawing as much attention as possible to and raising money for Het Vergeten Kind and the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur.
